  • What does a retained package include, and do I need one?
    Our retained packages all include access to legally compliant templates for policies, handbooks and contracts, and start from £99 per month. Choose from the Bronze, Silver or Gold package, or create your bespoke retained package depending on your requirements. We also offer ‘on demand’ HR for those only needing occasional support, or assistance with one specific issue.
  • I want to reduce my long list of things to do; can you do our HR for us?
    We offer a fully outsourced HR option for organisations that don't have internal HR capacity and want a full, pro-active HR function aligned to the business. Alternatively, we can agree monthly priorities to reduce your to do list by tackling the HR or H&S tasks and issues in your intray.
  • I get really confused with holiday calculations – can we ask you to do those?
    Holiday calculations are a regular request from clients! If you employ part-time employees or workers on irregular hours, calculating holiday and bank holiday entitlement can be daunting, so why not call on our expertise and let us do these for you!
  • Do I really need to have a lengthy staff handbook?
    No, a staff handbook isn't a legal requirement. By law, businesses need to have a GDPR policy and privacy notice, a clear methodology for disciplinary and grievance issues, and a Health & Safety Policy (5+ employees). However, a handbook is a great way to collate all of your organisation's policies and procedures and make them all available to employees in one place. Not sure where to start in creating one?   • I'm not sure we need much in the way of Health & Safety, we're just an office building with no heavy machinery
    Whether you are a Director of a large organisation or a manager in a small business, regardless of your work environment, your obligations to health and safety of employees and visitors are legally binding.
